Sue Ann is an accomplished jazz vocalist with a solid live performance experience showcase. From a musical family background, she started at a young age. She began singing in choir and learning of aural harmony before singing solo on stage for the first time at age 12.

She holds an Arts degree. Having studied voice extensively as her primary musical instrument with near perfect pitch, her study of vocal technique includes speech level influences. Essentially self-taught with an impeccable musical memory, her niche is American style jazz and her main inspirations are icons like Billy Holiday and Miles Davis, amongst countless others. Her emotive style captures the essence of experience with a refined jazz vocal technique and style.
Her first recording Lover Man (click to hear sample tracks on the CD page) includes Melbourne based and international jazz artists David Jones, Peter Jones, John Barrett, Evri Evripidis, Ben Robertson and Simon Patterson. A combination of bossa nova and jazz fusion, the cd also includes standards interpreted in her own unique magical style.
